Seolnal is just around the corner. Seolnal is January 1st of the lunar callender.
Seolnal is the representative festive day of Korea. On that day, we wear the traditional cloth "Han-bok", collect all family, bow to our adult relatives, and observe a worship service to our ancestors. Of course I'm going home to visit my parents. This time i bought two presents for parents.
One is car navigation that is for father. I hope this navigation will be helpful for father's safe driving.
The other is diet shoes that is for mother. She has diabetes, therefore regular exercise is essential.

I'm glad to be able to read your blog in English because I couldn't read Korean. Japanese people used to wear "Kimono" like your "Han-bok" at a New Year's day. But today, there are few people wear that.
What a good present for your parents! The shoes are so cute:) I hope your parents will be happy with your presents. And have yourself a happy holidays!
Thank you for your comment to my first English post. I know "Kimono", of course I have only watched there on TV or Movie. For similar reasons, Korean people don't wear the "Hanbok".By the way, I just hope that they like it.
As you know, I'm not good at English as much as I want to be good at it.
Please understand that.
See you again .:)
Hi suakii,
Thanks for coming to my blog last night, it was very nice to hear from you :)
When I was in junior high, I used to learn about Korean culture because one of my teacher's wife was Korean. So I've probably heard the ceremony from him, athough it was long time ago :) And my classmates tried to wear Korean traditional clothes, it seemed wedding, I don't know whether it was Hanbok or not.
Cheerio!
Hi little_sun
It is kind of you to say so. These days, two countries make cultural exchanges. I also knew about Japan traditional clothes "Kimono" like "Hanbok".
I want to meet you soon again through this or your blog :)
